Tour of SAF units in Sombor and Bačka Topola

The Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Tiosav Janković, toured the Serbian Armed Forces units stationed in Sombor and Bačka Topola today.
In the Sombor garrison, he gained firsthand insight into the organization of daily life and work within a unit of the 126th ASEWG Brigade, as well as at the First Training Centre, where he inspected training facilities and the buildings that will accommodate recruits once compulsory military service is reinstated.

General Janković then visited the Bačka barracks in Bačka Topola, where some units of the First Army Brigade are stationed. There, he was briefed on the units’ condition and capabilities, as well as their training facilities, soldiers’ accommodation, and the storage of weapons and military equipment.
During today’s tour, the Deputy Chief of the General Staff spoke with both soldiers and officers, and received reports from unit commanders on the progress of key tasks, along with their proposals for further improving the condition and capabilities of the units under their command.
