Bilateral defence consultations with Italian Republic
A delegation of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia met today with a delegation from the Italian Armed Forces to hold regular bilateral defence consultations.
The meeting held at the level of international military cooperation departments reviewed the current scope of bilateral defence cooperation, explored opportunities for its further enhancement, and considered proposals for joint activities in 2026. The two sides exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and on possibilities for intensifying defence cooperation between the two countries.
Both sides expressed their satisfaction with the activities carried out under last year’s Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan. During the meeting, they also signed the Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan for 2026, providing a basis for the further development and strengthening of defence relations between Serbia and Italy.
