Foreign military representatives briefed on Serbia’s defence budget
A briefing on the 2026 defence budget of the Republic of Serbia, hosted by the Budget and Finance Sector of the Ministry of Defence, was held today for foreign military representatives at the Topčider Barracks.
Colonel Luka Lj. Zloporubović, Head of the Budget Department of the Budget and Finance Sector, presented to the foreign military representatives the structure of the 2026 defence budget, focusing specifically on basic principles and guidelines for budget preparation, as well as on its programme structure and characteristics. During the briefing, it was also stressed that the defence budget is based on realistic framework characterized by a pronounced development component and focused on care for people.
