Minister Gašić meets with representatives of PE Srbijagas
Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić met today with Dušan Bajatović, General Director of the Public Enterprise Srbijagas, to discuss the possibility of gasification of military barracks across Serbia.
It was noted during the meeting that the gasification of military facilities would enhance energy efficiency, reduce heating costs, and ensure a more environmentally acceptable energy supply.Minister Gašić underscored the importance of continued investment in the infrastructure of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, stressing that upgrading energy systems in military barracks contributes directly to improving living and working conditions for members of the Serbian Armed Forces.
– Through infrastructure projects like this, we are contributing to long-term stability and the strengthening of our capacities, in line with the energy security strategy of the Republic of Serbia – the Minister of Defence noted.It was concluded at the meeting that cooperation between the Ministry of Defence and PE Srbijagas would continue through concrete activities and coordination between relevant agencies, with the aim of implementing the planned activities in the coming period.
