Minister Gašić meets with representatives of "14. Oktobar"
Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić met today with Petar Miljković, General Director of 14. Oktobar, a Kruševac-based limited liability company.
On this occasion, the Minister of Defence noted that cooperation with business entities, along with the enhancement of industrial capacities, is an important element of strengthening the defence system of the Republic of Serbia.- The Ministry of Defence places particular importance on cooperation with business entities that can contribute to the strengthening of our overall industrial and security resources through the development of production capacities and modern technologies. In this context, we recognize the ability of the 14. Oktobar company to contribute to the development of the defence system of the Republic of Serbia with its expertise and production capacities – Minister Gašić stated.
During the meeting, discussions focused on strengthening cooperation of the Ministry of Defence and the factories belonging to the Serbian Defence Industry Group with the 14. Oktobar company. The meeting also provided an opportunity to review concrete projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces.
The meeting was attended by Nenad Miloradović, Assistant Minister of Defence for Material Resources, and Colonel Nikola Matović, Head of the Office of the Minister of Defence.
