Collective training of Telecommunications Service soldiers
Signal Brigade units are currently conducting training for military service volunteers from the September 2025 intake. In this brigade, they are being trained for specialties within the telecommunications service.
Having previously completed basic and specialist individual training, the soldiers are now being trained as radio-teletype operators, field telephone operators, and radio relay operators. They are also preparing for the execution of collective tasks within the signal units of the Serbian Armed Forces.The training is conducted both in specially equipped classrooms, which provide conditions for practical work with telecommunications devices and systems, and in the field, where soldiers practice procedures for setting up mobile telecommunications centres at command posts and verifying communication quality across planned radio networks.
The soldiers undergoing training have demonstrated a high level of motivation and many of them have expressed a desire to continue their careers as professional soldiers in the Serbian Armed Forces after completing their voluntary military service. Those who choose to pursue a career in the Signal Brigade will perform responsible duties, ensuring the continuous operation of the telecommunications and information systems within the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces.
