Open Days every Saturday at military schools
As the new academic year approaches, the Ministry of Defence invites all interested candidates to visit the Military Academy, the Military Grammar School, and the 1300 Corporals Secondary Vocational Military School every Saturday as part of the Open Days initiative. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about the educational opportunities and the advantages of studying at one of the military schools.
Interested candidates, along with their parents or legal guardians, are invited to visit the Military Academy at 33 Veljka Lukića Kurjaka Street in Belgrade every Saturday from January 17 to March 28, between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. The boarding facilities of the Military Grammar School and the 1300 Corporals Secondary Vocational Military School, located at 22 Humska Street, will be open on the same days until the end of March, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.Visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about the curricula and different study programmes, gain insight into daily life at the schools, including special forms of instruction and extracurricular activities, and tour the accommodation, classrooms, and cultural and sports facilities available at these military educational institutions.
Tours of the Military Academy will be guided by cadets from both the Military Academy and the Medical Faculty of the Military Medical Academy. They will share their own experiences of military education and provide a first-hand perspective on daily life at the Academy, special forms of instruction, and extracurricular activities.The Military Academy will once again offer preparatory courses for candidates applying to its study programmes. Preparatory maths classes will be held every Saturday until May 16, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., followed by a demonstration of the physical fitness test from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. A mock mathematics examination will take place on March 28, 2026, from 2.00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Online preparatory courses in biology and chemistry for the entrance examination to the Medical Faculty of the Military Medical Academy, Defence University in Belgrade, will be held on Saturdays. Each subject will be taught in two class periods per day (chemistry from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by biology from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.). The courses will run from January 17 to June 6, 2026.Enrolment in the preparatory courses does not require applicants to attend both subjects, they may choose to attend either biology or chemistry classes, depending on their preference. The courses are free of charge and include a total of 60 class periods per subject.
Applications for the Military Academy, the Military Grammar School, and the Secondary Vocational Military School open on February 15 and the deadline for applications is March 31, 2026.
