President of Georgia Kavelashvili lays wreath at Monument to Unknown Hero on Mt. Avala
As part of his official visit to Serbia, the President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili, accompanied by Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić and the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, laid a wreath at the Monument to Unknown Hero on Mt. Avala today.
Following the wreath-laying ceremony graced by the ceremonial formation of the Serbian Armed Forces Guard and the national anthems of Serbia and Georgia, President Kavelashvili wrote a message in the memorial book.
Earlier today, the President of Georgia met with the President of the Republic and Commander-in-Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces, Aleksandar Vučić, and participated in a plenary meeting between Serbian and Georgian delegations.
