250th Missile Brigade’s Exercise Serbian Shield 2025

Exercise Serbian Shield 2025 is currently underway at the Serbian Armed Forces Simulation Training Centre. The command of the 250th Air Defence Missile Brigade, together with its subordinate units, is training to plan, organize, and conduct operations.
Following the exercise scenario, in a simulated operational environment, the brigade is practicing staff procedures and tactical actions during the execution phase of operations on a modern battlefield, including warfare against the most advanced remotely piloted systems and UAVs.

The exercise is focused on a comprehensive approach to carrying out complex missions in various tactical conditions. In addition to the daily review of the command’s decision-making process at all levels of command, the exercise is also testing the brigade’s understating of the rules of engagement of units and assets, as well as its ability to coordinate and operate jointly with other forces and participants in the operation.
The exercise directing staff have designed the scenario and the mission-essential task list in such a way that in order for the mission to be executed successfully, a broad range of knowledge and skills is required, as well as a high level of creativity and critical thinking on the part of commanders and staff officers.

Computer Assisted Exercises are an important form of practical training for SAF commands, providing staff officers and commands with an opportunity to develop their skills in planning and executing combat operations while using minimal material resources.
