Bilateral defence talks with Hellenic Republic
cting Assistant Minister for Defence Policy Predrag Bandić and Assistant Minister of Defence for Material Resources Nenad Miloradović, Ph.D., have met with a delegation from the Hellenic Ministry of National Defence, led by Ambassador Michel Spinellis, Director General at the Directorate for National Defence Policy and International Relations, to hold bilateral defence talks.During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the political and security situation both in the region and globally, as well as the results achieved so far and future directions of cooperation between the two ministries.
Assistant Minister Bandić emphasized that the relations between Serbia and Greece are traditionally strong and meaningful, and that they provide a solid basis for expanding defence cooperation. He said that the Serbian Ministry of Defence is committed to advancing cooperation both in quality and scope, to the advantage of both countries.
Assistant Minister Miloradović highlighted the need to strengthen and concretize military-economic cooperation.
Ambassador Spinellis agreed that there is a need to intensify defence cooperation at both the bilateral and regional levels, in order to strengthen mutual understanding and overall stability in the Western Balkans and Southeastern Europe.
During the meeting, participants analysed negative trends affecting regional security and expressed a shared commitment to working together to further advance bilateral relations, which would reinforce peace, stability, and trust in the Balkans.
