Mixed Artillery Brigade conducts computer assisted exercise

This week, the command and units of the Mixed Artillery Brigade conducted a computer assisted exercise titled Fire Strike 2025.
The exercise was carried out at the Simulation Training Centre in Belgrade with the aim of enhancing the brigade’s ability to plan, organize and provide artillery-missile support to Serbian Armed Forces troops in combat operations.

Following a specific scenario in a simulated operational environment, brigade members practised decision-making staff procedures, as well as tactical situations they might encounter during operations. An important part of the exercise also involved training and assessing proficiency in delivering artillery fire using remotely piloted UAVs.   The exercise also tested the brigade members’ knowledge of the rules of employment of artillery and missile units and systems, coordination with other units in the area of operations, and collaboration with civilian actors.

Computer Assisted Exercises are an important form of practical training for SAF commands, providing staff officers and commands with an opportunity to develop their skills in planning and executing combat operations while using minimal material resources.
