Youngest soldiers successfully complete basic skills assessment

Soldiers who began performing their voluntary military service in September, have undergone basic individual skills assessment at the Serbian Armed Forces training centres in Sombor and Leskovac.
This was the first skills assessment for the youngest generation of soldiers, designed to evaluate their readiness to independently perform tactical actions and procedures on the battlefield, handle weapons and military equipment, and perform internal service and facility protection duties.

During the assessment, the soldiers were asked to solve tactical scenarios that required the application of knowledge and skills acquired over the past month and a half of training, and the results proved that they had fully achieved the required standards of competence.
As they continue their military service, the soldiers will be sent to specialized training centres, where they will be trained in the use of combat systems and military equipment specific to their branch or service, in preparation for the final training phase – collective training at the Serbian Armed Forces units.

Soldiers interested in pursuing a professional military career have the opportunity to apply now in order to complete the required procedures in time and meet the conditions necessary to join the ranks of the Serbian Armed Forces as professional service members immediately upon completing their voluntary military service.
