Reconnaissance Army units undergo tactical training
Members of a reconnaissance unit of the 4th Army Brigade have conducted tactical training at a training area near Vranje.
The training is part of routine exercise activities of reconnaissance units, designed to maintain a high level of proficiency among professional personnel for the provision of intelligence support to the Serbian Armed Forces in operations.Field activities encompassed tactical drills and procedures for mounting combined reconnaissance patrols, raids and ambushes, as well as the collection of intelligence on enemy forces and the situation on the ground. These activities were carried out using modern surveillance systems that are currently in service with the Serbian Armed Forces reconnaissance units.
Special focus was placed on the additional training of newly admitted professional soldiers to ensure they acquire the necessary knowledge and skills related to the tactics and employment of reconnaissance units, and to enhance their psychophysical readiness for the execution of complex missions assigned to these SAF elements.The combat ability of SAF reconnaissance units has been significantly enhanced in the recent period. In addition to intensive training, the units continue to be equipped with the best weapons and military equipment, ensuring their ability to successfully carry out their missions on the modern battlefield and to provide reliable and timely intelligence to the Serbian Armed Forces troops.
