Visit to 72nd Special Operations Brigade



The Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, conducted an official visited to the 72nd Special Operations Brigade at the Rastko Nemanjić barracks in Pančevo today.
During his visit to the elite unit of the Serbian Armed Forces, he was briefed on the progress of key tasks and projects critical to the Brigade’s combat readiness. He also provided guidelines for the execution of tasks in the period ahead.

During the briefing with the command staff, the Chief of the General Staff expressed satisfaction with the overall condition of the units, emphasizing that, thanks to the recent organizational changes, an unprecedented cycle of investments, and increased staffing levels, the 72nd Brigade has reached a historic peak in its combat capability.
At the recent Power of Unity military parade, citizens had the opportunity to see some of the modern weapons and military equipment recently procured for the 72nd Brigade. The unit’s operational capabilities and combat readiness will continue to grow, ensuring its ability to carry out special operations, including sabotage and counter-sabotage, counterinsurgency and counterterrorism operations, as well as other specialized tasks.

General Mojsilović was accompanied on today’s tour by Colonel Boris Stojković, Head of the Office of the Chief of the General Staff.
