Agreement signed between Ministry of Defence and Dassault Aviation
Today, Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić attended the signing of a special agreement formalizing an industrial cooperation program between the Ministry of Defence and the French aerospace company Dassault Aviation.
The agreement was signed by Major General Slavko Rakić, Head of the Department for Defence Technologies of the Material Resources Sector, and Jean-Claude Piccirillo, Senior Vice President Export Military Sales at Dassault Aviation. The signing was also attended by Assistant Minister for Material Resources Nenad Miloradović, Ph.D., and General Gaël Diaz de Tuesta, National Armaments Director at the Ministry of Defence of the French Republic.
Under the agreement, the major French manufacturer Dassault Aviation and its partner companies will collaborate with the Serbian defence industry and the Military Technical Institute on joint projects aimed at strengthening domestic capabilities in the development and production of weapons and military equipment, with a particular focus on aviation.
In line with the agreement signed today, individual corporate contracts will be signed with specific companies, outlining provisions relating to technical support, technology transfer, and knowledge sharing, all aimed at enhancing domestic development and manufacturing capabilities.
