President Vučić arrives at Power of Unity military parade
The President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, Aleksandar Vučić, has arrived at the plateau in front of the Palace of Serbia in New Belgrade, where he will watch the grand Power of Unity military parade.
President Vučić was welcomed by Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić and the commander of the military parade, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović.
Following the gun salute, students of military schools carried a 300-m long flag of the Republic of Serbia, accompanied by the national anthem.
The President of Serbia granted permission for the military parade, marking the Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom and the National Flag, to commence.
Approximately 10,000 personnel will participate in today’s Power of Unity military parade. The parade will showcase around 2,500 pieces of weaponry and military equipment, more than 600 vehicles, 70 aircraft, and 20 vessels.
