Meeting held in preparation for “Power of Unity” military parade



The Minister of Defence, Bratislav Gašić, and the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, held a meeting today at the Banjica 2 Barracks in Belgrade with senior officers from the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, representatives of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the City of Belgrade. The meeting focused on the comprehensive preparations for the upcoming military parade titled The Power of Unity.   
The meeting was attended by the Mayor of Belgrade, Aleksandar Šapić, and the Secretary General of the Government of Republic of Serbia, Petar Janjić.

During the meeting, those present were updated on the progress of preparations for the military parade. They also discussed the support that the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the City of Belgrade will provide to help organize the event.

Minister Gašić expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the preparations and voiced his conviction that all citizens of Serbia would take pride in the upcoming military parade. 
- The military parade The Power of Unity presents an excellent opportunity to demonstrate to both domestic and international audiences the significant progress the Serbian Armed Forces have achieved in recent years, thanks to the President and Supreme Commander, Aleksandar Vučić. The parade will highlight how much stronger and better prepared our armed forces are to safeguard the security of all citizens and to serve as a deterrent to those who wish Serbia harm. Members of the defence system are motivated and ready to present our armed forces in the best light, making all of us proud. The Power of Unity will serve as a powerful demonstration of the strength of the Serbian Armed Forces – Minister Gašić said.

At the meeting, the Minister of Defence and the Chief of the General Staff provided guidelines and assigned tasks to support the ongoing planning and organization of the military parade.
