Soldiers undergoing specialized logistics training

Specialized training is underway at the Logistics Training Centre for soldiers currently undergoing voluntary military service - June 2025 intake. The training is designed to prepare them for their future logistics roles in the units of the Serbian Armed Forces.
The Logistics Training Centre, located across the garrisons of Kraljevo, Kruševac, and Niš, provides instruction in over 20 logistics Military Occupational Specialties (MOS). Training covers a wide range of support roles – from cooks and bakers to drivers, medics, fire-fighters, and tracked and wheeled vehicle mechanics. Soldiers are also trained as mechanics specializing in the maintenance of various combat systems, weapons, ammunition, and explosive ordnance.

During this six-week phase of their military service, soldiers undergo both theoretical and practical instruction. Training is conducted in specially equipped laboratories, in the field, and on combat vehicles. The objective is to equip them with the knowledge and skills required to operate and maintain the specific assets and equipment associated with their assigned specialties.
The specialized training for this class concludes at the end of August with an evaluation of their individual task proficiency. Following the evaluation, they will begin a three-month collective training, as well as the integration into the daily life and operational routines of their assigned military units within the Serbian Armed Forces.

While still serving their voluntary military term, soldiers have the opportunity to apply for admission into the professional military service. Upon submitting their application, they undergo the required admission procedures and, once their military service is complete, become eligible to join the ranks of professional members of the Serbian Armed Forces.
