Foreign military personnel train at CBRN Training Centre

This week, members of foreign armed forces attended an international course on the detection and identification of toxic chemicals at the Serbian Armed Forces CBRN Training Centre in Kruševac.
During the five-day course, trainees from Azerbaijan, Greece, Egypt, Italy, the United States of America and Spain broadened their knowledge about the physical and chemical properties of toxic chemicals and learned how to use contamination detection devices and give first aid for poisoning.

The trainees used devices and equipment that are in service at the Serbian Armed Forces, and the training was delivered by certified CBRN Training Centre instructors. The training focused on performing toxicological analyses of water, heavy metal salts and chemically contaminated samples in special laboratories used for the detection and identification of toxic chemicals.
The fact that foreign armed forces show great interest in courses held at the CBRN Training Centre testifies to their quality and the expertise of SAF instructors in CBRN field. At the same time, these courses help the unit strengthen its status as a regional and partner education and training centre.
