Special Operations Battalion - Griffins conduct exercise

An exercise conducted by the Command of the Special Operations Battalion “Griffins”, 72nd Special Operations Brigade, is underway at the Serbian Armed Forces Simulation Training Centre in Belgrade.
In a simulated operational environment, staff officers, NCOs and unit commanders are being taught to plan, organize and carry out special operations.

In addition to daily analyses of the Command’s decision-making at all levels of command within the brigade, the focus of the computer-assisted exercise is on using a comprehensive approach to solving complex tasks in the AO.

Tactics and staff procedures are being practiced and the knowledge of the rules of unit and weapons engagement is being tested, as well as cooperation with the units of the Ministry of the Interior.
Computer-assisted exercises are an important form of practical training that SAF commands conduct. Such exercises provide an opportunity for staff officers and unit commands to improve their ability to plan and carry out military operations, using the minimum amount of material resources.
