President Vučić visits “Complex Combat Systems” in Kuršumlija

The President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, Aleksandar Vučić, visited the Combat Complex Systems Ltd. factory in Kuršumlija today.
He was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević and Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff Gen. Milan Mojsilović.

During his tour of this defence industry factory in Pljakovo near Kuršumlija, where Lazar and Miloš armoured combat vehicles are manufactured, President Vučić said that we must take care of ourselves and strengthen our military and the defence capabilities of our country. He touched on the geopolitical circumstances, adding that there is a buyer for everything that is produced by the defence industry.

- We need to take care of ourselves, of our military. It is obvious that challenging times in the geopolitical sense are ahead of us. Will we be able, in those difficult times, to position ourselves in the best possible way, preserve peace, people, and our country, and deter any potential aggressors? This is a big and important question for us - President Vučić said.
In any case we must continue to strengthen our armed forces and our defence capabilities, he said.

- We also need better corporate management in some factories. We have to work much harder and invest a lot more - said the president.

The average salary in the factory has been increased by RSD 15,000 and it now amounts to about RSD 94,000, plus a hot meal, the management told the president. He was also informed that the factory operates at the highest European standards and that the opening of another plant is planned, where Lazar and Miloš vehicles will be assembled.

- There are buyers for everything you produce. You will find buyers easily, everyone wants our products. Everyone wants weapons, equipment and vehicles. It's not a question of price, but whether you can produce enough of everything - said President Vučić.
There is no country without a military and that is why we will have to invest even more in our military, the president said.

- We can guarantee that there will be enough work for people in the next 10 years. At least 10 years. No one thinks about anything else but going to war. Therefore, we can sell everything to whomever we want - said President Vučić

During the tour, the factory management presented to President Vučić the product range, the achieved production level and the greatest production assets. President Vučić had the opportunity to talk to the employees, whom he thanked for their hard work, praised them for being extremely valuable and wished them much success in their future work.

- I would ask you to work even harder and more diligently. I always say that people in Kuršumlija work the hardest. I insisted that your wages be increased, we will continue to raise your wages, and I ask you to really devote yourself to working in this company, because it has a future and there will be more work, there will be more jobs, and facilities will expand. Protect your jobs, your workplaces and fight for your country - said President Vučić.
President Vučić was accompanied on his tour of the factory by Minister of the Interior Bratislav Gašić, Assistant Minister of Defence for Material Resources Nenad Miloradović, PhD, members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces and representatives of defence industry factories.
