Bilateral defence consultations with Hungary



Representatives of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia, led by the Head of the International Military Cooperation Department, Colonel Nebojša Svjetlica, visited Hungary to hold a round of bilateral defence consultations and sign the Bilateral Cooperation Plan 2024 with the Hungarian  Ministry of Defence.
  Colonel Svjetlica said that the defence cooperation with Hungary was comprehensive and characterized by a tendency towards constant development and an aspiration of both sides towards improvement in all areas.
 
During the meeting, Colonel Svjetlica and his Hungarian colleague, Colonel Albert Gróf, looked at the current political and security situation in the region and agreed on the plan for bilateral cooperation between the two ministries in 2024.
 
Colonel Gróf agreed with Colonel Svjetlica’s assessment of the defence cooperation between the two countries. He also expressed his expectation that the cooperation would see further improvement in the coming period to the satisfaction of both parties.
  At the end of the consultations, the Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan 2024 was signed with Hungary.
