Minister Vučević Meets Prime Minister of São Tomé and Principe Trovoada
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević met today Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe Patrice Trovoada, who is paying official visit to the Republic of Serbia.
The interlocutors talked about possibilities and development of defence cooperation, which would contribute to the enhancement of the overall relations between the two countries.
Minister Vučević pointed out that Serbia advocates for the preservation of territorial integrity and sovereignty, consistent respect for international law, preservation of peace and stability, as well as developing relations with other states founded on equality and mutual appreciation.
Prime Minister Trovoada concurred that there is room for the enhancement of the cooperation in the fields of mutual interest, including the field of defence, adding that signing of an agreement in September 2023 created normative framework for its further development.
