Combat crews train with modern artillery weapons

The crews manning the 155 mm Nora B-52 M-15 self-propelled gun-howitzers are currently undergoing collective training on the training grounds and in the training area near Niš.
The training aims to improve the ability of members of the Mixed Artillery Brigade’s battalion armed with Noras to prepare and carry out combat action, utilizing the capabilities of this combat asset to the maximum.

During the training, the crews are practicing emplacement, the timely target acquisition, the use of an automated fire control system and the execution of indirect fire, in accordance with established standards and norms for effective action. Leaders and professional soldiers are receiving practical training in performing additional duties as part of Nora crews, which ensures the replaceability of personnel and increases the unit’s resilience.
Continuous training and practice are vital to maintaining a high level of competence and combat readiness of the battalion, whose ability to provide reliable, accurate and powerful fire support to SAF units on operations has significantly increased following the introduction of the 155 mm Nora gun-howitzer into operational use.
