Soldiers’ specialized skills assessed

This week, the Army Training Centre conducted an assessment of individual skills of the soldiers who started performing their voluntary military service in September 2023, following their first training period which lasted for four months.
The assessment included soldiers serving in armoured units, military policemen and reconnaissance soldiers, whose individual training lasts a month longer, due to the specificity and complexity of their future military duties.

Prior to the assessment, the soldiers went through the entire individual tactical training programme, learned to use personal and branch-specific weapons, conducted all scheduled firing practices and passed a physical fitness test.
During the assessment, the soldiers carried out tactical and fire missions in accordance with their MOS, demonstrating great knowledge and skills necessary for the execution of individual tactical and fire missions.

Excellent grades in the assessment are the result of the soldiers’ dedication and commitment during the training and an indication of well-planned and well-executed training. In the next training period, soldiers serving in armoured, MP and reconnaissance units of the Serbian Armed Forces will undergo collective training, where they will have the opportunity to boost their knowledge and take an active role in the execution of daily tasks.
