Minister Vučević visits Human Resources Sector

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević visited the Human Resources Sector, Ministry of Defence, today. At the premises of the Military Museum in Kalemegdan, Assistant Minister of Defence for Human Resources Siniša Radović briefed Minister Vučević on the competences, functions, responsibilities and the state of affairs in that sector.
Following the meeting, Minister Vučević, accompanied by Assistant Minister of Culture Danijela Vanušić and Mayor of Belgrade Aleksandar Šapić, took a tour of the Military Museum’s collection of important exhibits and permanent exhibition.

During the tour, it was agreed that the Ministry of Defence and the City of Belgrade would take steps to solve the property-legal relations, as well as necessary steps to adapt and organize the Military Museum building, as well as the outdoor museum displays.
The Military Museum was founded in 1878 by decree of Prince Milan Obrenović, and at the suggestion of the Minister of Defence, Colonel Sava Grujić. Today, the Museum has about 33,000 objects systematized in 15 collections and an impressive photo library that includes about 100,000 photographs.
