Extensive preparations for capabilities demonstration “Granite 2023”



Preparations are now underway at the “Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović“ military airfield for the Serbian Armed Forces capabilities demonstration “Granite 2023”, which will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023, to mark the Serbian Armed Forces Day.
The capabilities demonstration will feature more than 5,000 members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, about 2,300 items of armament and military equipment and over 60 aircraft.

Visitors will have the opportunity to see state-of-the-art weapons and military equipment owned by the Serbian Armed Forces, as well as assets that are still being developed by the Serbian Defence Industry companies.
The air show will include, among other things, aerial displays performed by aircraft and helicopters, including  MiG-29, Orao, Lasta, Mi-35, H-145M and Mi-17, as well as а display of FK-3 and Pantsir anti-aircraft missile systems, PASARS anti-aircraft self-propelled artillery-missile system, Kornet anti-tank missile systems, Miloš, Lazar-3 and Hummer armoured fighting vehicles,  155 mm NORA self-propelled gun-howitzer, Oganj self-propelled multiple rocket launcher, as well as modern optronics devices.

In addition to this, visitors will be able to see Special Forces equipped with the latest weapons and military equipment on parade.

The gate of “Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović“ military airfield will be open to all citizens from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the most captivating part of the programme starts at 11 a.m.  
Visitors will be able to enter the military airfield using one of the three entrances - the main entrance to "Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović" military airfield, the entrance to "Moma Stanojlović" Aviation Institute, and the entrance from the direction of Nova Pazova.
