President of Republic of Guinea-Bissau lays wreath at Monument to Unknown Hero on Mt. Avala



The President of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, Umaro Sissoco Embaló, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević and Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, laid a wreath today at the Monument to the Unknown Hero on Mt. Avala as part of his official visit to the Republic of Serbia.
  Following the wreath-laying ceremony, the President of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau signed the monument’s guest book inscribing the following message: “I am honoured to be here today to pay tribute to the brave men and women who fought for the liberty and dignity of the gallant people of this great country. May their courageous example continue to inspire the generations to come of this great nation”.
The President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, has hosted the President of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, Umaro Sissoco Embaló, who is paying an official visit to the Republic of Serbia, and discussed with him important issues for both countries.
