State Secretary Starović meets with United States European Command (USEUCOM) delegation
Today, the State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence, Nemanja Starović, received members of the United States European Command (USEUCOM) delegation, Foreign Policy Advisor to U.S. European Command and USEUCOM's Director for Strategy, Plans and Policy, Major General Daniel Lasica.
The meeting was an excellent platform for the talks about further enhancement of cooperation between the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia and USEUCOM, as a leader of defence cooperation between the two countries.
State Secretary Starović pointed out the diversity of cooperation with the U.S. Armed Forces, and underlined that, besides the European Command, Serbia had established cooperation with the Ohio National Guard as well, and, in the field of military education, with the Germany-based European Center for Security Studies “George C. Marshall”.
The representatives of the European Command expressed their satisfaction with meetings held with representatives of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces, and they expressed hope that defence cooperation between the two states would be expanded in the period to come.
