Minister Vučević and General Mojsilović with Members of Serbian Armed Forces on Christmas



On today’s holiday - Christmas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević and Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces General Milan Mojsilović visited members of the Serbian Armed Forces in the base "Dobrosin” in the Ground Safety Zone.
During today’s visit Minister Vučević and General Mojsilović were assured that the members of the Serbian Armed Forces of the Fourth Army Brigade professionally and responsibly perform the tasks of securing the Administrative line and controlling the Ground Safety Zone.
 
Minister Vučević expressed his gratitude to the officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers for protecting the peace and security of our country on such an important holiday, away from their families.
  - I offer my greetings on the most joyous Christian holiday after Julian Calender - Christmas, with the traditional greeting Peace of God - Christ is Born, with great gratitude and satisfaction that we are celebrating the first day of Christmas together with Chief of General Staff General Mojsilović and Commanders here in the base “Dobrosin”. We have been assured that the Serbian Armed Forces units, the Fourth Army brigade in particular, perform their duties, even on this great holiday, when the majority of citizens spend time in their warm homes, thus protecting our fatherland Serbia, protecting the security and safety of all citizens of Serbia - Minister Vučević stressed.
 
The minister of defence said that he was proud and grateful for all tasks executed in the previous year, and for all those tasks that are yet to be performed.
 
- There are no holidays for the Serbian Armed Forces, and there are no days off, no rest, since each day, a part of the units is always performing their tasks aimed at protecting the sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia and protecting the security of all its citizens - Minister Vučević emphasised.
Today’s visit was an opportunity for Minister Vučević to talk to members of the Serbian Armed Forces about the organisation of life and work in the base “Dobrosin”, and on that occasion the servicemen demonstrated the preparation for the execution of their tasks of providing security.
 
On that occasion, the “Dobrosin” base Commander, Captain Janoš Kardoš, informed the minister of defence and Chief of General Staff about assigned tasks within the area of responsibility of the base “Dobrosin”.
 
The visit to members of the Serbian Armed Forces was attended by the Army Commander Lieutenant General Milosav Simović and Commander of the Fourth Army Brigade Brigadier General Novica Petrović.
