Training Command units conduct joint drills
Some of the SAF Training Command units are currently conducting joint drills under field conditions.
For the purpose of this training, a temporary unit has been formed to carry out tactical and fire missions on the move and on training grounds outside their parent bases, in line with exercise incidents.
The aim is to improve the level of training of the Training Command personnel for employment in defensive and offensive operations of the Serbian Armed Forces. The activities in the field, which last for several days, include tactical drills and live-fire exercises whose results have shown that soldiers, NCOs and officers are thoroughly trained and highly motivated to perform assigned tasks and missions.
Joint drills are an important segment of training conducted in the Serbian Armed Forces since they improve the ability of staff officers and NCOs to plan operations and command troops, and increase units’ capability to conduct combat actions independently or in cooperation with other components.
