Serbian Armed Forces conduct Joint Exercise “Manoeuvres 2022”

The Serbian Armed Forces are conducting Joint Exercise "Manoeuvres 2022". The exercise involves both active and reserve members who will be doing various forms of training together for three weeks.
The evaluation of forces will be carried out on the territory of the Republic of Serbia by November 6, in the airspace and inland waterways, involving the operational Army and Aviation components.

The training activities aim to further improve the capability of the commands and units for operation planning and execution, for preventive deployment of forces, organizing joint action and living and working arrangements in the field.
During the preparatory phase of the exercise, commands and units will carry out their assignments at their parent bases, standard operating procedures will be examined and reserve personnel will be admitted. As soon as they are assigned to units, they will undergo training to refresh the knowledge they acquired while performing their military service. The units that move on to the active phase will perform a preventive deployment of forces in their areas of responsibility, and later, during the final phase, they will conduct tactical drills, tactical exercises and fire practices using different types of weapons.
Joint exercises, which bring together different services and other forces of the defence system, as needed, are an irreplaceable form of training in the Serbian Armed Forces. These exercises help commands and units achieve a high degree of proficiency in performing tasks jointly, which is of crucial importance for the overall combat readiness of the Serbian Armed Forces.
