International course held in CBRN Centre

Members of the Serbian Armed Forces and the armed forces of seven other countries are attending an international NBC training course, which is being held in the CBRN Centre this week.
During the five-day training, trainees from Brazil, Greece, North Macedonia, United States, Slovenia, Montenegro, Spain and Serbia will improve their knowledge in this field and learn how to use protective equipment against the effects of nuclear, chemical and biological weapons and decontamination of people, facilities and soil.

For the purposes of the training, which is being delivered by certified CBRN Centre instructors, devices and equipment of the Serbian Armed Forces are being used. Besides theoretical instruction, the programme also includes practical exercises on the "Ravnjak" training ground and in the "Car Lazar" barracks in Kruševac, where participants will practice the use of instruments for measuring the effects of NBC weapons, as well as the implementation of protective measures against this type of weapons.
A great interest of the armed forces of partner countries in attending international courses organized by the CBRN Centre confirm the high quality of CBRN training offered by the Serbian Armed Forces and strengthen the status of this unit as a regional and partner education and training centre.
