Training in Army artillery-missile battalions

Professional soldiers serving in the 2nd Army Brigade’s Air Defence Artillery Missile Battalion are going through routine training. They are practicing the execution of collective assignments that this unit is tasked with.
The training, which is being conducted on the Serbian Armed Forces training grounds and in the "Jovan Kursula" barracks in Kraljevo, aims to improve the proficiency of operators and crews in the combat use of artillery-missile systems that are part of the battalion’s armament.

At this time, members of artillery-missile units are training in the field, practicing tactical and fire procedures while marching, masking, occupying firing positions and executing live firings against aerial targets. The training focuses on the combat use of the modernized 40 mm Bofors anti-aircraft gun, whose modification has greatly improved the maneuverability and gun power of this combat system.
The training, which is carried out in cycles in Air Defence artillery missile battalions throughout the year, ensures a high degree of proficiency in these units for providing direct air defence to the Army troops during combat operations.
