President of Egypt lays wreath at Monument to Unknown Hero on Mt. Avala
President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, who is paying a three-day visit to the Republic of Serbia, has laid a wreath today at the Monument to the Unknown Hero on Mt. Avala, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, and Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović.
President al-Sisi laid the wreath as the national anthems of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Republic of Serbia were being played, and the Serbian Armed Forces Honour Guard was standing to attention.“President of Egypt al-Sisi has paid homage to our heroes who fought with outstanding bravery and gave up the most valuable thing they had, their lives, for the freedom of Serbia”, Minister Stefanović wrote on his Instagram account ( @nebojsastefanovic), thanking the Egyptian president.
