Reception of MP Units’ Competition winners



Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, has received today the 72nd Special Operations Brigade team, the winners of the Military Police Units’ Competition. The competition was held in the Kraljevo garrison last week.
  General Mojsilović praised the winners for their spirit, motivation, physical fitness and shooting and tactical skills, adding that their results confirmed the reputation of this unit, setting high standards for all competitors from the SAF and the Ministry of the Interior.
 
Chief of the General Staff promoted the team leader, Lieutenant Dalibor Samardžić, to the rank of Captain for his significant contribution and results achieved.
 
The second MP Units’ Competition was held from May 16 to 20 on the “Beranovac” and “Žiča” training grounds near Kraljevo, with six SAF and four Ministry of the Interior teams participating. The four phases of the competition saw participants competing in tactical and fire missions in a simulated urban environment and on patrol tracks, undertaking tactical actions and following security measures.
  The MP Special Purpose Detachment “Kobre” took 2nd place, right behind the 72nd Special Operations Brigade team, while the Gendarmery members took 3rd place in the overall competition.
