Milosavljević and Borbelj best Serbian competitors at 35th Belgrade Marathon

Lieutenant Colonel Nenad Milosavljević, Training and Doctrine Department (J-7), Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, and Sergeant Đuro Borbelj, First Army Brigade, were the most successful Serbian competitors in the men's group at the 35th Belgrade Marathon. Lieutenant Colonel Milosavljević finished the 42-kilometre race coming in sixth, and Sergeant Borbelj crossed the half marathon’s finish line fourth, 12 seconds after the bronze medallist and four minutes after the winner.
The fact that Milosavljević and Borbelj left behind numerous professional athletes at the biggest mass-participation sporting event in our country, speaks of the two SAF members’ high level of physical fitness and dedication.
Almost 170 members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces participated in the 42 and 21-kilometre races at this year's Belgrade Marathon, and more than 150 cadets and military school students helped the organization by handing out drinks at refreshment stands along the marathon route.
