Promotion of voluntary military service continues

On February 4, the Ministry of Defence ran a promotion of voluntary military service in the Voždovac Town Hall in Belgrade and in the Sports Hall in Subotica.  Students of the 12th Belgrade Grammar School and the 2nd Secondary School of Economics, who attended the promotion of the new concept of voluntary military service, had the opportunity to learn all the details about voluntary military service and get answers to questions about this concept and other forms of knowledge enhancement and education that the Ministry of Defence can offer to young people. The members of the MoD Belgrade Regional Centre and the MoD Voždovac Self-Government Centre, were given generous support and assistance by the Deputy Chairman of the City Municipality of Voždovac Slobodan Simonović.

While performing voluntary military service, young people develop a competitive spirit and a sense of collectivity and belonging, which are also the characteristics of sports activities. Therefore, the MoD Subotica Local Self-Government Centre was supported in the promotion of this concept by the member of the Subotica City Council in charge of sports and youth Nataša Aleksić and the Secretary General of the Sports Association of Subotica Dejan Vuković.  By promoting the new concept of voluntary military service across the country, representatives of territorial bodies of the Ministry of Defence inform interested citizens about the simplified application procedure for voluntary military service, shorter preparation phases for training in the Serbian Armed Forces training centres and significant increase in monthly pay for soldiers performing voluntary military service.
