SAF members take part in exercise in Greece

Members of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade took part in "Falcon 21" tactical exercise conducted by special operations units of the Serbian Armed Forces, the Greek Armed Forces and the Cypriot National Guard at the training grounds in Greece, on November 29.

The ten-day special forces training included tactical day and night firing practices, fighting in urban environments and premises, making passages in barricaded buildings, administering first aid and self-aid, MEDIVAC, climbing, parachuting and airborne landing using different techniques.
The final segment of the training was a tactical exercise, which covered the overall training content and demonstrated a high level of competence and coordination of members of the participating countries’ special forces.

The trilateral "Falcon 21" exercise officially ends tomorrow. Participants will be awarded certificates of participation and parachutist badges for the jumps completed.

Participation in this and similar exercises increases the capability of Serbian special forces for conducting complex anti-terrorism operations and an effective response to potential challenges, risks and threats, and further strengthens military to military cooperation with the armed forces of partner countries.
