Meeting of Minister Stefanović with Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Cyprus
Today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović PhD met Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Cyprus Andreas Louka, at the Exhibition of Arms and Military Equipment “Partner 2021”.
The interlocutors pointed out traditionally good relations between our two countries, asserting the importance of mutual support to preservation of sovereignty and insisting on the respect for the international law.
Minister Stefanović expressed orientation towards the enhancement of defence cooperation with the Republic of Cyprus, particularly in military-to-military and military economic areas.
Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Cyprus Andreas Louka indicated numerous opportunities for cooperation in joint projects, and for cooperation between military scientific and research institutions of the two countries.
He expressed his satisfaction with the visit of Cyprus delegation to the Exhibition “Partner 2021” underlying traditionally friendly relations between our peoples, and conveyed to Minister Stefanović the invitation of his minister of defence to pay official visit to the Republic of Cyprus.
