Minister Stefanović: Thank you for successfully defending Serbian national colours

According to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, everything is ready for today's final part of the "Guardian of Order" international military police competition at the "Beranovac" training ground in Kraljevo. After the first three phases of the competition, he said, Serbia is currently in the lead with 1,678 points.
The Minister of Defence will be visiting Moscow today and tomorrow, where he will attend the International Army Games finals, where the Serbian military teams have already achieved notable results. "Military police teams representing six countries will compete today in the fourth phase of the "Guardian of Order" competition. Five-member teams at the "Beranovac" military training ground will be doing a 12-kilometer course with a total of 30 obstacles, a very demanding course that needs to be covered in the shortest possible time," said Minister Stefanović announcing today's finals at the "Beranovac" training ground.

According to him, everything is ready for today’s fourth phase of the “Heroes’ Race” contest in Kraljevo. "I want to share the good news with the citizens of Serbia - our armed forces have achieved the best score in the first three phases of the competition, and Serbia is currently in the lead with 1,678 points and a considerable advantage over other teams. I would like to praise the other teams that have shown exceptional preparedness in the competition so far. Today's fourth phase will also decide the winner in the "Guardian of Order" discipline, which is being held in Serbia for the first time this year," the Minister said.

According to him, after six years of continuously participating in the International Army Games, Serbia has been given the honour of co-organizing the world's largest military competition, and hopefully this will become a tradition.

He called on all the citizens to support the Serbian Armed Forces today.  "Excellent teams will compete in Kraljevo today, and I want to invite the whole of Serbia to support our soldiers. Our guys are fighting fiercely, and we expect them to take first place," said Stefanović.

He also noted that the Serbian military teams have already won four medals in the "Military Rally" discipline, which is being held in the east of Russia, as well as three awards at the "Army of Culture" event that was held in Moscow's "Patriot" park.

"It's a really great achievement for our soldiers. I will see our guys in Moscow today and I want to convey to them the profound gratitude of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, for showing that they are truly exceptional representatives of their country, for being successful in competitions against some of the strongest militaries in the world and successfully defending the Serbian national colours”, said Stefanović.
