A gift to the citizens - Mozart and Haydn night at Kolarac

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, attended tonight a concert given by the Ministry of Defence's Artistic Ensemble “Stanislav Binički“ which was held in the Great Hall of the Kolarac Endowment. The famous ensemble gave a free concert entitled “Let's Be Responsible, Let's Listen to Classical Music“ to the citizens.
The concert program included Mozart's Serenade No. 6 in D major, K. 239 "Serenata Notturna", and Flute Concerto No. 1 in G Major, K. 313, and Haydn’s Symphony No. 45 in F sharp minor. The concert included the performance of the following Binički Ensemble soloists - Danica Ilić, flute, Uroš Kovandžić, violin, Nataša Milošević, violin, Slobodan Pavlović, viola, and Aleksandar Lučić, double bass. The orchestra was conducted by marvellous Katarina Božić.

The concert hall was filled to capacity and anti-epidemic measures were adhered to. Each composition performed by highly inspired musicians and young conductors was greeted with a storm of applause. An unusual synergy of artists eager to perform and an audience craving for great classical music, characterized this Mozart and Haydn night.
Tonight's concert held as part of the "We Have Chosen for You" cycle was dedicated to the Classical period. Free concert tickets could be picked up at the box office as of Sunday, and the audience showed great interest for the concert. Since anti-epidemic measures are still in force with audience limitations in concert halls, a large number of classical music fans were, unfortunately, left without a ticket.
