Chief of General Staff at EU Military Committee meeting



The Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, attended the European Union Military Committee meeting held today in Brussels in Chiefs of Defence format.
The meeting discussed partner countries’ contribution to the European Union training missions and operations, in which members of the Serbian Armed Forces have a high degree of participation. 

During his two-day visit to Brussels, General Mojsilović had a separate meeting with the Chairman of the EU Military Committee (EUMC), General Claudio Graziano, with whom he discussed SAF members’ participation in European Union peacekeeping operations.
On the sidelines of the EU Military Committee meeting, the Chief of the General Staff met with the Cypriot National Guard Commander, Lieutenant General Demokritos Zervakis and the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Konstantinos Floros. During the conversation, General Mojsilović emphasized Serbia’s firm commitment, as a military neutral country, to preserving peace and stability in the region and the world and readiness to further promote the military to military cooperation in the areas of mutual interest with the Republic of Cyprus and the Hellenic Republic.
