Tank crewmen and military drivers depart for International Army Games




Today, tank crewmen of the Serbian Armed Forces and military drivers departed from the Batajnica airfield “Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović” for the Russian Federation where they will participate in the International Army Games 2020 in the disciplines “Tank Biathlon” and “Military Rally”.
 
Our tank crewmen and military drivers were seen off by Army Commander, Lieutenant General Milosav Simović.

Twenty-four members of the Serbian Armed Forces will participate in “Tank Biathlon” on the “Alabino” training ground near Moscow, from 23 August to 5 September, and our 13-member crew will participate in “Military Rally” that is held from 23 – 30 August in the easternmost part of the Russian Federation, in the Republic of Tuva.

This will be the 7th time the members of the Serbian Armed Forces have participated in the most attractive discipline of the International Army Games, “Tank Biathlon”, in which they achieved the best results in 2015 when they took third place. Military drivers are participating in “Military Rally” for the second time, and in their first participation, they took third place.

In addition to “Tank Biathlon” and “Military Rally”, members of the Serbian Armed Forces will participate in the competition “Sniper Border”, which is held as a part of the International Army Games in the Republic of Belarus, from 23 August to 5 September.
