President of the Democratic Republic of Congo lays wreath at the Monument to the Unknown Hero
President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, accompanied by defence minister Aleksandar Vulin and chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Milan Mojsilović, laid a wreath at the Monument to the Unknown Hero on Avala today.
After laying a wreath with the highest military honours and a ceremonial lineup of the Serbian Armed Forces Guard, President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo signed in a Memorial Book, followed by intonation of the national anthems of the two countries.He wrote in the Memorial Book: “Honour to unknown heroes who died for freedom.”
The president of the Democratic Republic of Congo is on an official visit to Serbia, where he met with the president of the Republic of Serbia and the commander-in-chief of the Serbian Armed Forces, Aleksandar Vučić.
