President Vučić meets the Vice-Chairman of the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China
 
President of the Republic of Serbia and the Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, Aleksandar Vučić has met today with the delegation of the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China headed by the Vice-Chairman of the Central Military Commission, General Zhang Youxia.
 
The meeting was also attended by Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin and Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Milan Mojsilović.
 
President Vučić wished a welcome to the guests and asked General Zhang to convey his most sincere greetings to the President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping. He said that Serbia was grateful to President Xi for everything he did for the friendship between the two countries and that he hoped that President Xi would honour us again with his visit to Serbia. “We are proud of the steel friendship of our two peoples and we extend our support to the 'One-China' policy as well as in many other issues”, President Vučić said.
 
General Zhang thanked President Vučić for a warm welcome and pointed out that the People's Republic of China acknowledges that Serbia devotes large consideration to the overall strategic partnership between the two countries. He added that he would convey the greetings to President Xi and said that the two presidents - on several occasions on which they met - deepened the relations between the two nations, and expressed his satisfaction that some of the measures will be more specifically defined during this visit.
 
The interlocutors confirmed that they would attend the military exercise 'Begej 2019' to be held in Titel on Sunday.
