Minister Vulin meets Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Lesotho

Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin has met today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Lesotho Lesego Makgothi.

Minister Vulin thanked Minister Makgothi for the efforts of the Kingdom of Lesotho and his personal contribution in the decision-making process of the Government of the Kingdom of Lesotho to withdraw recognition of the so-called “Kosovo” as an independent state, as well as for voting against the recent attempts by the Pristina authorities to make the so-called “Kosovo” a member of INTERPOL.

During the meeting, Minister Vulin underlined that the Republic of Serbia is committed to finding a compromise solution and does everything to prevent the announced transformation of Kosovo security forces into the so-called “Kosovo army”, which Serbia regards as flagrant violation of UNSCR 1244 and the Kumanovo Military Technical Agreement.

Bearing in mind that the Republic of Serbia and the Kingdom of Lesotho do not have established defence cooperation, part of today's meeting was dedicated to the possibilities for establishing and development of bilateral military cooperation between the two countries, as well as for concluding a defence agreement.
