The Serbian Armed Forces Are Ready to Protect Their Country and all the Citizens from Possible Threats



 

 
Today, Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin and Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces Lieutenant General Milan Mojsilović, accompanied by the Army Commander Lieutenant General Milosav Simović, visited a part of the units of the Army Second Brigade and Special Brigade in Raška which are currently at the highest level of alert.
 
Minister Vulin pointed out that, in accordance with the order of the President of the Republic of Serbia and Supreme Commander Aleksandar Vučić, the Serbian Armed Forces were in a higher level of readiness, closely monitoring the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, and that they were ready to react on every provocation and every threat to Serbian population.
 
- At this moment, all our engaged units are in good condition, fully manned, with completely serviceable materiel and the most importantly, with extremely high morale of all their members. The Serbian Armed Forces are ready to execute every order and ready to protect their country and citizens, no matter where they live, from all possible threats. I do not exclude any threat, and I do not exclude any answer – Minister Vulin underlined.
 
Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces Lieutenant General Milan Mojsilović underscored that on that day, in accordance with the order of the president of the Republic of Serbia and supreme commander and guidelines of the minister of defence, he gained insight in the preparedness of the quick and rapid reaction units for their further activities in the area of deployment.
 
- Currently, the Serbian Armed Forces are executing intensified activities under the order of the president of the Republic of Serbia, and in that segment, I would like to underline the preparedness of the armed forces for all the tasks that we could possibly be faced with – General Mojsilović estimated.
 
At the meeting with the Command of the Second Brigade and rapid reaction forces of the Special Brigade, Brigadier General Željko Kuzmanović informed the minister of defence and chief of General Staff that all the engaged units of the Second Brigade and Special Brigade were in the highest level of alert, that the morale was at the highest level as well, and operation capabilities enabled the execution of all assigned tasks.
 
At today’s meeting of the Command of the Second Brigade and the engaged forces of the Special Brigade, the minister of defence and chief of General Staff gave the guidelines and orders for further actions.
