Minister Vulin: Republika Srpska can always count on support and assistance from Serbia
- The Serbs, no matter where they live, they are and must be one. It is imposed by our origin, our history, culture and civilisation. It is imposed by our need to fight for survival - defence minister Aleksandar Vulin said at the event entitled Days of Republika Srpska in Serbia.
According to him, the Serbs, no matter where they live, only if they are united, can hope to solve their national issue once and forever and to really survive in this cruel world when it comes to nations that are not too numerous, but nations that have a great history.
- Republika Srpska was, is and will be one of our priorities. Republic of Srpska was, is and will be, one of the foreign policy priorities of the Republic of Serbia, and it will always be a place where the Republic of Serbia will show how much it is ready to help, how important it is how the Serbs live, no matter where they live. Republika Srpska can always count on the support and assistance of the Republic of Serbia – minister Vulin emphasized.
Republika Srpska should know, he added, that as Serbia grows stronger, more stable and secure, the Republic of Srpska will be stronger, more stable and secure, because one would not go without the other.
- It is just as we will not allow a new Operation Storm to happen, as we will not allow any new pogroms and new Jasenovac situations, we will do everything to ensure that Republika Srpska and Serbia and all of our region live in peace and stability – minister Vulin said.
- The Republic of Serbia recognizes and respects the integrity and sovereignty of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and we are, after all, the custodians of the Dayton Agreement, and Bosnia and Herzegovina was established in accordance with that agreement. The Republic of Serbia respects Bosnia within the given borders and expects and demands that Bosnia and Herzegovina lives and makes decisions in accordance with the will of the two entities and three nations – minister Vulin said.
Minister Vulin also pointed out that within the competence of the Ministry of Defence it has never been better between Serbia and Srpska, and there have never been more concrete activities.
- The Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia has never invested more money in the defence industry of Republika Srpska and we will continue to do it - Minister Vulin said.
