State Secretary Živković meets with the Speaker of the Parliament of Ghana
State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence, Aleksandar Živković, on behalf of the Minister of Defence, met today with the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Ghana, Professor Aaron Mike Oquaye.
State Secretary Živković introduced the interlocutors to the goals of the defence policy, our country's commitment to the policy of military neutrality, as well as the preservation of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija.
On this occasion, the two sides expressed their interest in concluding a legal framework for cooperation in the field of defence, i.e. establishing and developing cooperation in all areas of common interest, especially in the field of military medicine, military education, military economic cooperation, military sports, as well as the exchange of experience from participation in multinational operations led by the United Nations.
